Both ipp-usb and sane-airscan can be downloaded from. But now, when I start the Scanner application it doesnt seem to recognize the scanner, asks me to start it, and then crashes. ![]() though the list of supported devices is so long that we cant imagine what. It was also recommended I try sane-airscan and that too was very effective. Download VueScan for Windows to get the most out of your scanner by improving. The solution in many cases, (including my own with a Canon TS5050 MFP,) was to install ipp-usb and remove ippusbxd (my device was connected via usb so utilized ippusbxd in LM19.3 but ippusbxd proved problematical in LM20 whereas its replacement, ipp-usb, did work effectively).
